Rated 2 out of 5 by from good mouse, bad keyboard The mouse works as expected. The keyboard presents a long lag between typing and displaying the characters. After a couple of seconds (yes, seconds) what's typed is displayed on the screen in bulk. That doesn't occur with the built-in keyboard and the mouse is very responsive, so it's not a software issue or a bluetooth problem either.

The standard protocol for 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard and mouse refers to RF Transmission, Packet Transmission, decoding by the receiver, and Interference Management. If you are referring to security features, this keyboard and mouse does possess AES 128 bits capabilities.
