HP introduced breakthrough products at CES—the award-winning HP ZBook Ultra G1a and HP Z2 Mini G1a. These innovative devices are transforming how professionals engage with software like SOLIDWORKS and Autodesk Revit, allowing workflows previously not possible on mobile or mini devices. With unified memory, these products give data scientists and AI developers the ability to run larger LLMs, further enhancing local AI capabilities and supporting more scalable, efficient development.
 
Today, we're announcing a series of breakthrough AI solutions, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA that help scale from workstations to the edge.  First, the HP ZGX Nano AI Station G1n, our version of the NVIDIA DGX ™ Spark, built to meet the evolving needs of AI teams and developers. The HP ZGX Nano AI Station G1n enables local, secure AI development with the same high-performance hardware and software stack of DGX Spark, while also offering HP’s purpose-built AI creation center software ecosystem that streamlines on-prem development and enhances AI workflow productivity. Integrated as part of a turnkey AI developer solution, the ZGX Nano AI Station G1n provides everything needed for AI teams to build, optimize, and scale models—while maintaining security and flexibility.
 
HP will be a leading partner with NVIDIA on bringing additional AI Station products to market, including the HP ZGX Fury AI Station G1n, HP’s version of the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. And finally, HP is adopting NVIDIA RTX PRO™ with Blackwell across our desktop and mobile workstation portfolio, delivering cutting-edge AI performance. 
 

Introducing the HP ZBook Fury G1i and HP Z2 Tower G1i:

The ZBook Fury G1i, available in both a 16" and an all-new 18" form factor, is a thoughtfully designed mobile workstation that powers the most intensive workflows wherever work takes you. The ZBook Fury G1i 18, the world’s most powerful 18" workstation¹, allows customers to see more and do more on-the-go with 30 percent more workspace² so CAD designers can make edits real time. With the Industry’s first three-fan design³ and high-performance components, memory, and storage, the Fury unlocks engineers’ ability to model and design remotely using Autodesk Inventor and take it to the field to evaluate feasibility, delivering high-powered productivity from wherever work takes you. It delivers desktop-class performance in a laptop with up to an NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000™ Blackwell laptop GPU6⁴ and Intel Arrow Lake chipsets8 to unlock next-gen processing and AI capabilities, empowering creative and engineering professionals with the latest AI and visual computing capabilities and data scientists to run and train LLMs locally with maximum performance.
 
The Z2 Tower G1i, pushes the boundaries of what entry desktop workstations can do. The Z2 Tower is the world's most powerful entry workstation⁵, perfect for architects who thrive on both creativity and efficiency. In fact, gen over gen, overall performance has increased and architects working specifically in Autodesk Revit will experience a performance improvement. With the freedom to choose the right GPU, customers can optimize performance, manage costs, and effortlessly scale their workstations. The thoughtfully redesigned chassis lattice thermal venting delivers 67 percent more CPU power & cooling⁶, and this new design is upgraded to accommodate up to a 600W graphics solution that brings 88 percent more GPU power⁷ for improved rendering speeds, smoother workflows, and the ability to handle even the most intricate and detailed models without any lag. Architects can harness the power of the NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell GPU, which provides 96GB of GDDR7 memory for a seamless 3D rendering experience and enables real-time collaboration across multi-app workflows. With these enhancements, HP continues to deliver cutting-edge technology and unlocking workflows previously not possible for customers who demand local, high-performance compute.
 

HP Z Brand Update:

 
Z by HP is now a distinct HP Z product line to strategically enhance clarity and deliver a cohesive experience for our partners and customers. This unification empowers us to leverage the full equity of the HP brand, allowing us to focus on what we do best: delivering cutting-edge technology that drives innovation and connects compute, data, and people like never before. As part of this branding change, we will be adopting a new numbering structure that will apply to the naming of our HP ZBook portfolio. The change will simplify our lineup and deliver a more cohesive commercial experience. The ZBook name itself represents the high-performance nature of our product line and will remain unchanged.
 
We introduced the Ultra modifier at CES with our HP ZBook Ultra 14 G1a. Ultra denotes innovation in design and engineering and signals we're at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and delivering exceptional user experiences. We’re also retaining the Fury modifier, representing the ultimate powerhouse in our HP Solutions lineup. HP ZBook Fury will be the pinnacle of power and capability.
 
Starting today, we will be adopting a new numbering structure for the rest of our ZBook lineup, we’re bringing consistency across the HP commercial PC lines for our customers by taking inspiration from the recently announced naming of the EliteBook/ProBook lineup. To simplify our portfolio, we are dropping the names of Firefly and Power and introducing a numbering system that signifies increasing device features and overall performance. The numbers 8 and 10 (represented by "X") will represent this progression.
